Mauritius
Mauritius is a small island in the Indian ocean with pristine white sand beaches, lagoons, coral reefs, crystal clear blue water. More than 50% of the population is of Indian origin with their forefathers coming to Mauritius as laborer’s to work in sugarcane fields. Previously a British colony it was known for it vast sugarcane fields. It is ranked as one of the most developed and most competitive economies in Africa. Tourism is one of the major occupation among the citizens and it contributes significantly to its economy. The mountainous interior includes rain forests, wild life, waterfalls, hiking trails and many more activities which make it a very popular and sought after tourist destination.
New Zealand
New Zealand is an island country located in the Southwestern Pacific ocean. It consists mainly of two parts, the North island and the South island. It was a British colony and Queen Elizabeth ll is still the monarch of New Zealand. The natives or local inhabitants of the country are known as the Maori people and their traditions are known as the Maori culture. It is famous for its beautiful islands, nature parks and natural beauty.

Rajasthan literally means ‘Land of Kings’, land area wise it is the biggest Indian state. Seychelles is one of the smallest countries in the world and is officially known as the Republic of Seychelles. It is an Island country located in the Indian ocean consisting of 115 islands, the largest being Victoria which is also the capital of Seychelles. Majority of the islands are inhabited with many also being declared as nature reserves. Tourism is one of the biggest sources of livelihood among the local people and one of the major sectors contributing to the country’s economy.
Shimla and Manali
Located in the state of Himachal Pradesh in India, Shimla and Manali are hill stations. It is a favorite honeymoon and tourist destination for many across India. It was developed in the colonial era as the summer capital. Shimla is the largest city and capital of Himachal Pradesh and Manali is around 275km away from it.
Singapore
According to the legend, Sang Nila Utama a prince from Palembang (capital of Srivijaya) was out on a hunting trip when he caught sight of an animal he had never seen before. He took it as an auspicious sign and named it ‘Singapura’ derived from the Sanskrit words ‘Simha’ (Lion) and ‘Pura’ (city). Located at the tip of the Malay peninsula the natural point of sea routes, the city flourished as a trading post for vessels such as Chinese junks, Arab Dhows and Portuguese battleships.
Now officially known as the ‘Republic of Singapore’, it became independent in 1965 and has since grown at a rapid pace to become one of the most developed countries in the world. It has been declared the most expensive country to live in the world continuously since 2013 and has the second highest GDP per capita (PPP) in the world. Tourism is one of the main contributors to the economy with millions of tourists visiting Singapore every year.
Thailand
Thailand once known as ‘Siam’ is located in the south east of Asia and it is the only country in this region which was never colonized by any European power. Thai people love their King and show great respect for the monarchy. It is a country where you can get as local or foreigner as you like. The locals like welcoming tourists and are very hospitable, it is a melting point of people as you will find people from all across the world coming either as tourists or working as expats giving it a very cosmopolitan feel.

UAE was founded under the visionary leadership of the late Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan also known as the father of the nation.
